We can only guarantee testing and implementation of these concepts to be error-free and productive if implemented in a workshop with one of our OTRS consultants. Without this, the responsibility lies with the customer himself. Please note that configurations from older OTRS versions may not work in the newer ones.
One of my favorite new features in the OTRS Business Solution™ 6, is the new DynamicFieldWebservice. This new dynamic field allows using data from remote systems as values of DynamicFields. The benefit is a faster implementation without custom programming for the OTRS Business Solution™ 6.
After you clicked on “Web Service”, the already known dynamic field configuration screen will open. I’m sure you’ve recognized the special configuration.

HI Robert, can you please post example for what OTRS expects after inbound mapping (should be jason?) We are struggeling with the key/values :)?

Hi Abril, yes you can use DynamicFieldWebservice for this kind of integration, but OTRS AG is also providing feature addons for such use cases (Dynamic Field Config Item) :-) Best regards, Robert

Hello Robert, I need more information about this feature, sounds great that we can use the web service for use data from other systems as values of Dynamic fiels, it´s possible to use this feature to obtain data of the API OTRS CMDB?? we need use the values of the CMDB like dynamic fields and i hope with this feature it can possible.
